Lily Lime Bee

Backyard Blooms is a collection of embroidered fabric necklaces and earrings inspired by the diverse array of flowers that bloom in my garden. Their delicate stitches allow the floral designs to take prominence.

I worked on the project from conception to completion: creating designs, executing fabrication, photographing and editing product photos, and designing packaging.

These soft brooches take the shape of a single hand holding a heart. They feature a variety of colorways and textures, including lace, beading, and buttons.

To complete this project, I developed designs, created patterns, executed fabrication, and photographed and edited product photos.

Solidarity Sprouts is a collection of earrings and necklaces created to help support a local mutual aid organization. The green, white, and red colors, as well as the red daliah design, were chosen to represent the organization and the communities they support. They feature a soft pillow-like form and delicate embroidery.

This needle case was designed to bring beauty to something functional. The design utilizes embroidery and quilting techniques to define the features of the hands. There are two areas to store needles: the heart and the hand. The design features blue lace detailing, a selection of decorative buttons, and a button closure.

This project utilized my skills of design, patterning, fabrication through sewing and embroidery, and product photography.

Timeless Inspirations is an ongoing collection of zines created using public domain images. This series began as a way to practice my Adobe Cloud skills, but soon turned into a project of passion, curating stories with various artifacts.

Through this collection, I practice curatorial, editorial layout, image retouching, bookbinding, and overall storytelling skills.
